THIS WEEK!!!!! American Museum of Natural History on the planetarium dome. Cushy seats. Awesome sound system. Full-blown live interpretation of psychedelic music using overhead projector oil and water techniques and lumia techniques, hand manipulated video feeds by manipulation of highly reflective devices to bend and control light forms. The things you see on the dome are all invisibly moved by human hands painting with light in time to music. This is not a little deal. Ten people at least are actively working backstage to make the light art. These performances will blow your mind and chill your butt off! I’ve been bending light with Joshua White for many years now and he really delivers the goods and has a devoted community of artists working with him in tandem to produce these orchestrations of light.
